Philosophy

If there is an overarching philosophy at Kendra Taylor & Associates, it is that each project needs to be approached on its own terms. Of primary importance is responding to the particular needs of the client. Working with a homeowner on his or her residence is completely different from working with the multi-headed committees that are typical for an institutional or corporate project; working with a client who has little to no time for maintenance is very different from working with a client who has a full gardening staff. Just as KT&A believes there is no single stylistic approach that is appropriate for every project, there is also no way to generalize a design and management approach, given the unique circumstances each project brings. In all cases, KT&A attempts to answer the specific challenges of each project with a well-considered and creative response.
